If this is in the wong category, please let me know XDOkay, so, I've promised this thing to a lot of people at a lot of different times. And I've put it off, and put it off... and finally I was prodded enough to freaking do it! So here it is! My very own tutorial on how I draw hands. I tried to keep it simple while covering all the bases I could... and in doing so, pointing out and clearing up common mistakes I've come across.
I hope it helps! Feel free to download and share around as much as possible... credit to me is always welcome

Its seems so much easier than the other tutorials i looked at!!
but the only problem i have drawing is the thumb
O - O its kind funny how i can't draw a thumb...
now i gotta see if i can draw it smaller...
Whenever i draw something big at first i can't seem to make a minature version of it..
or if i start out drawing small some parts of the body would turn out big...

Yeah I didn't go over drawing the thumb very well here. Sorry. When you're drawing hands, make the box/mitten first and then worry about the thumb and fingers. Keep them in proportion to the box. Good luck!

Ahhh, I feel so annoyed because I see loads of comments of people who are like- yay, I can draw hands now~
But I still can't draw them. Maybe I'm doomed to a life of people with melted hands

What exactly is giving you trouble? Keep in mind that this is my attempt at a basic introduction to hands, seeing as many people don't realize that palms are wedges and such.
If I had to hazard a guess, I would say that most people who have made these comments are being polite and feel good because now they have a starting point; not that they can suddenly draw amazing hands where before they couldn't do anything.
Practice the basic shapes of the hands without getting lost in the detail; practice just front/back of a flat hand, then the hand fro the side, before you move on to more complex angles.

My only issue with this is that the hands in this tutorial are either manly as hell, or "COULD YOU HELP LITTLE OLD GRANNY ACROSS THE STREET, SONNY~?!?!?!". ._.; Female hands, pl0x!

I didn't really do much differentiating in this tutorial, actually. I showed you how to draw hands, and because I had to define what I was doing/talking about, perhaps they look mannish to you. In reality, as I drew I referenced my own hands... which are female.
Male and female hands only differ in their definition (the knuckles and the veins in the hands) and their size. If you follow this tutorial and stick your hands on a chick, as long as you don't draw them too large, they will look like female hands.
Hope that helps, I doubt I'll ever do a tutorial on female hands specifically because of the reasons above. (That said, I'm sure there are tons out there!)
