yay, my first tutorial everI've searched all over DA for something like this because I myself wanted to know how this magical coloring technique was accomplished. So I found a tutorial elsewhere and decided to paraphrase for you people out there. If its not making sense, let me know...
i was doing this around 2 a.m. and thats about the time my brain rots. sooooo, yeah, enjoy!

exactly, this is too long winded even for me, but i had to design it just in case people out there aren't photoshop savvy. I could have done it in two steps.
I'm not a fan of long tutorials because by the time you get to the important part, you're already lost and have to go back to see how they did those "10 easy steps" to get to what you really wanted to learn.

I'll be saving this for that time as and when I get around to getting something photoshop-like, as well as buying some spare time from the spare-time shop down the street... and of course I now also feel like I ought to make something at least vaguely Spawn-inspired, even though of course they do such a damn fine job of them things already for their own part.
- So, that's just saved me a month or two

hot! Its a pain in the ass to get people who already know the technique to share their secrets sometimes. I just feel grateful that I could offer something you don't get to see everyday. yeah, I hate tutorials out there that have 20 steps to do something that could have been explained in four or five steps. I hope this can help you out at all.

well, this time I'm doing Heretic Bahamut. I recently viewed a video of a heretic bahamut battle (to get references) and noticed it looked alot like yours...so yeah, I'll be doing a different version of what you've got apparently.
