I won't write a description this time due to spoilers they'd uncover. I've been having a lot of fun with Xenoblade Chronicles X the past few weeks. I love the atmosphere and music, and desperately need to get my hands on that OST, because I take a fancy to some of the music for various reasons. So yeah, I suppose this is a tribute to it, especially the can of worms opened in the post-credits cutscene.Apo + Chaotica

I found this to be a fascinating mixture of organic and heavily structured (crystalline or mechanical) texture. That's one thing I enjoyed about working with this particular image, even if it took me a while to get it twisted into the framing that captured all of these elements...

I love this artwork Dude but could I suggest that you add maybe like a filter to really add a kind of cinematic effect to it? All looks amazing though 👍

Hmmm, I'm not a big fan of adding filters to things unless I think they're really necessary outside of the rendering software I use. I often use vibrance filters in Photoshop just to intensify the color slightly, but I really don't do much postwork apart from adding a logo. I guess I'm somewhat of a "purist" who avoids most postwork, and probably because I feel I'd just butcher it -- adding another layer of depth into the process has a whole different set of skills I've not worked with much at all.

I personally enjoy this, but it doesn't stand out to me as much as other things I've made. There's less focus (or resolution of) the major objects, and they are moderately static forces, in my opinion.
Still, I was making this and popped an earlier version in chat and was like "does thus work?" I made a few changes, arrived at this version, and was like "hell yeah it works, look at this" and BoxTail probably would have given me a death stare if I had any doubts about it xD
