Did you add the acrylic paint before or after baking the clay??
π: 0 β©: 1
TalaRedWolf33 In reply to kiger8kiger [2011-01-03 03:06:18 +0000 UTC]
Never paint them before baking. The paint will catch fire. If you have doubts about painting, I usually use colored clay, it works easier, but the color wont come out perfect. Usually a little darker.

Jeeze! Not only do you make amazing (and beautiful... Not to mention tasty looking...) clay structures, but you're also kind enough to share them with other people so that they may make them, too. That makes you the most awesome person in my book!
But now I want to eat your creation with a tiny spoon... Or try and make one myself! ...Someday... I will do this! Thanks SO much for the tutorial! It is very well done and very informative! And I love all the detail you put into it!

I am loving all your tutorials. They look very helpful. I'm collecting them cause I hope to make some cute little treats when I have more time. Plus I work at a Michaels currently so I get a discount for the supplies.
By the way you in the second picture talking about the banana you typed "cute" instead of cut. Though It seems as no one else noticed. Plus it's pretty obvious what you meant.

You don't know how thankful I am that you made this tutorial.
I really wanted to put whipped cream on some cupcake charms I was making (modeled after those trendy cupcakes being sold these days), and now I'm so happy to find out you can make whipped cream just like that!
Thanks again so much!

I am glad you like it. It's hard to tell in the photos but the bowl is actually silver clay. I almost always make my bowls with silver.

Awesome tutorial
When I make whipped cream (or try to! ) and mix my white clay with the liquid sculpey it doesnt ever come out as runny as yours looks. Am I adding too much clay? Or perhaps too little liquid sculpey? Thanks
Awesome work
