Here was my second Painting assignment.

Left: Photo 4" 5"
Right: Painting 16" 20"
Using my own stretched canvas

The assignment:
To walk around the room and pick a dirty area of the table we liked. Then we try to recreate this area using acrylic paint and a wet-on-wet technique. This is when you work with the paints being wet the whole time.

We spent 3 sessions on these paintings and for the first two I didn't have the retardant so my paints were drying too quickly. By the third session I was much better at wet-on-wet but I still prefer dry brush.

It's not 100% spot on but I must say it is pretty close.
