iaza.com can be used to resize your image or make it transparent.Hopefully this is helpful. Keep in mind this tutorial is meant to show my process and tips. It isn't meant to teach you how to use MS Paint. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

It varies by program but look for the brush that just draws pixels and set to the smallest size

If you're using the old ms paint, it should be under image>attributes
In the newer paint, there's a little resize option right on the main toolbar.

im confused on something
i started out with a 100X100 canvas on paint.
and shrunk it to 50X50 and it isnt very pixeled it looks very bad D;..help?

Oh yeah MS paint is really bad at that. You'll have to resize it in another program or use iaza.com. Iaza has a resize thing, you just have to browse through the options. If neither of those work, you can send me the image and I'll resize it for you!

I just use Iaza.com usually. It has an animate feature. If you're looking for a specific program, you'll have to find another tutorial. I lost the old program I used to animate with so I wasn't able to include that in the tutorial.

too bad all i use is mspaint, so i cant use opacity XDDD

Oh you don't really need to change the opacity, it just helps. If you ever make an icon though, I'd be happy to change the opacity of the sketch for you! Just drop me a note.

Oh yeah that happens too. Iaza.com can also resize things pretty well and I'd also do that for you if you'd ever like. I don't think anyone should have to be limited because a program isn't that good ahah

sketching sizes don't really matter. Shrunk it will be either 100x50 or 50x100

I dont now how people make convincing 5050 icons unless they sketch bigger first. To me, that is definitely the KEY to making a good icon.
