Ah, I didnt know people still used this technique. XD But, well, I dont hang out at oekakis much anymore so I'm not all 'in' w/ pixel art as much as I used to be.
This is really interesting though! I really like it when people share w/ others how they make their stuff. I remember trying this sort of thing one time (not exactly the same way, but close). My favorite part of pixeling is making the bg's.

I wasn't aware there were other techniques actually hahaha Yeahh I don't oekaki either but I love my MS paint haha.
I'll have to try doing a background at some point. I've only ever done 50x50 icons but I think I'll try more haha
