Ultra simplistic tutorial explaining how to create a custom splattery blood brush. Obviously, with the circle flattened a bit, the splatter has some perspective. For more head on splatter, don't adjust the roundness at all.Related content

You should, I believe it exists even for Elements (I recall using it before I switched to the full version of Photoshop)

it works, it has a drop down arrow at the top if you change your tool to the paintbrush

I like the idea of how to create it. out of curiousity, if you want like the hardcore, slash type of blood splatter, would you use something like motion blur or smudge tool, etc.?

Shrink the size of the brush and basically run it over any part the "spray" would happen.
