Description Holy CRAP! This... took... forever. And it's so huge... I think it ate something! >_<

Well, I said I'd do it, and I did. I only hope that someone can find it useful, even if it's not the best one out there.

I noticed that too; tablets are too expensive for me, and a mouse works just as fine. Hope it could be of some use!

If you have any suggestions for more, I'll be glad to do them (if they're within my power, of course). Thanks!

Awesomeness I've always wondered how you did such greatness. I have Photoshop Elements. Do you think That would work as well?

Thanks!

About the Photoshop Elements, I can't say for sure. I don't know how different the program is, and my version of Photoshop is a little outdated. I might have to look it up when I get the chance (hopefully before I go to Orlando). I'll ask around and see if anyone else knows...

I don't have photoshop, but hell, it's still useful information. Just got to figure out how everything would closely apply in paint shop pro.

I haven't really used dodge/burn shading since the very beginning, and then again, I'm particularly bad at colouring anyway, so it looked awful. Your colouring and shading sounds simplistic and looks so good, but its just doing it for myself. I just suck... *Nervous laugh*

I'm always scared of those magic wand-ish tools - or Lasso in this case.

Hurray for someone else using a mouse to colour. Tablets are too complicated for me, and the mouse just seems simplier and easier to control. Well, that's my opinion anyway.

I am going to be getting a version of PSP soon and I'll be fiddling with that thing, so maybe I can do a tutorial for that one as well in the future. Just need to bother the hell out of my friend to borrow it >_<

Coloring comes easy if you practice and have the patience, and my method is just one of the many ways to do it. Heck, there might even be an easier one somewhere, but I tried to be as simplistic as I could. I know how confusing the program can be at times; imagine me when I first got it! >_< Like a fish out of water, that's for sure...

As for the Dodge/Burn tool, it has a bad reputation because most beginners tend to overuse the tool and use it strictly for shading. I did the same thing once too, especially with PSP. However, the tools can be really useful for creating extreme contrasts, which is what I use it for. As for the lasso tools, I recently took it up and found it to be a lot easier when it comes to coloring within the lines; it's really useful for cel-shaded style, which is where I picked it up from.

And I don't have a tablet, so I don't know how to use one. I'm far more acquianted with the mouse anyways and I don't mind it at all. I've just seen a lot of tutorials that are meant for tablet-users, so I figured having a Mouse-Friendly one would be good. Now if I can get my hands on my grandmother's Mac and see how to do things there... >_<

I hope this all helps! >_<

I don't know how different 7 is from 6, but I heard that they're practically the same design. Good luck! I want to see the outcome!
