WARNING! Its a big file!FULL VIEW TO VIEW THE TUTORIAL!!!
This is the second part of my tutorial. It covers Cell shading 8D At last!
Since some of you asked in the last tutorial (and as I said before <.< ) I did this in Open Canvas, but I am pretty sure that, even though the options and names are different, It can work in other programs.
I hope you enjoy and you find it helpful!!
*If you have questions, leave them here. However, if your answer is actually answered in the tutorial, I will ignore your question (sorry if I sound mean, but some of you guys need to read more carefully)*

awesome! im still tryign to figure out my GIMP2 though @.@ oh god i cant even put in a bg for a pic! i have descovered how to use the find like color thing =3 IM MAKING PROGRESS! but i still dont know how to put in a simple bg T.T

I have a question, i have made a layer for each area in my pic, but when i used the pen tool, it goes over the lines and then shows through on the main lineart layer, do i need to click on somehting to prevent this =[ but if i use the paint tool icon it doesn;t go over the lines, is the pencil tool what i need to use as it doesn't seem to be working for me .D.;

That's what all tutorials say, but some of us can't afford them...

Do it with mouse. It`s the same. The only difference is that you can do more precise works with the tablet. Other than that, they are pretty much the same.

And I have a laptop... So I can imagine it's gonna be harder

If you use the pen tool, it's also very good for non-tablet users. I don't own one either.

I use Photoshop elements, and my pen tool doesn't have smaller edges.
