Impressive .. that seems like something really big going on despite not being able to pinpoint it exactly (a "red" hole or gigantic typhoon forming in the atmosphere of planet and is either sucking/throwing out debris from/into space).
Whatever it is it looks pretty epic and intimidating .. the sense of scale and that sense of mystery (of not knowing what is exactly going on and the feeling of dealing with an unknown phenomena) adds a ton to the atmosphere .. the motion blurs, depth of field effects you applied really enhance it even more .. marvelous work ^_^
