Description
This is the Hercules, a guest ship that will feature in my upcoming web series "Life on the Edge".
Given my background with retro Sci-fi art, when asked what my favourite spaceship is, one would probably assume it would be something "old school" like "Fireball XL5" or the "Enterprise". Some might be surprised that its in fact the "Normandy" (SR-1 or 2, I'm not picky) from "Mass Effect". (Image below by rvdm88).
If I had to put a finger on why it would be its super sleekness and empathises on aesthetics, plus the game gives you a really good feeling of ownership, being able to explore the insides and interact with the crew.
Now in many ways seeing as "Life on the Edge" is very much inspired by playing "Mass Effect" I felt it would be fun to have a character similar to Commander Shepherd that would occasionally intersect with the regular characters and of course he would have to have his own Kick-ass ship. In this instance, the Hercules.
A scout class vessel that can hold a motley crew of top class marines, a shuttle and some sort of ground attack vehicle.

The Gas Giant in the back ground is Jool, in the Kerbol system. (A high 5 for anyone who gets that reference.)
