Description
The Maser Tank, one of the Japanese governments slightly more successful developments in retaliation to the constant attacks by giant monsters.These mechachanic leviathans badly wounded the Gargatuas, made Gigan jump behind a row of trees and made Godzilla blink when one shot him in the eye.
Rendered here in ULTRA PANOVISION (like panovision but more ultra)

Not my first attempt at modelling one of these. Ages ago Guy and I entered a Godzilla themed sketch into the LAFTA awards (Language and film theatre awards) showing the importance of learning another language.

It looks like a scene from Godzilla X Mechagodzilla from 2002.

I based it on GXM lighting wise but that scene itself was based on "War of the Gargantua's" so it all comes full circle.

Yeah they did get gradually more insane.
Oxygen destroyer -> a cycle light ray -> Maser Tank -> Mechagodzilla -> Giant black hole firing satellite.
