Description This one was a lot of fun to work on. The perspective in the sketch was fun, and so was the background.
All comments and criticism are welcome, like always.

This is an experiment.
I did a vector trace of the original oekaki in Inkscape, then fixed a few things, and improved a few areas with Photoshop Elements.

The result is a larger, more detailed picture that was made from a simple oekaki.

Not really.
I get asked that fairly often, but there isn't all that much writing behind most of my pictures.

I got the idea for this one when I was driving home from a friends place at night. The ground was dark, but the horizon was still bright because the sun set recently.
So, I made the sketch.
After that, I thought an aurora would make the picture much more awesome then just a sunset.
Maybe dragons would find unusual weather more interesting, after all.

I'm rather pleased with the atmosphere it presents.
