Also I noticed that later Photoshop versions that support canvas rotation are even better for this - when you rotate the canvas, the angles still stay the same. I find making diagonal lines a lot easier by rotating the canvas and shift-dragging, because with pressure sensitivity on with shift-tapping the line tends to be really thin. Both have their uses though!
Did I already mention this trick completely revolutionised my drawing? Well, it did. So thanks for making this

I have a special brush with no size dynamics when I use this .
I am glad, I noticed the stairs you drew in your comic and I was wondering if you used the technique, otherwise that would have been an impressive pain XD

Yeah oooh no, it was all this! And it goes on and on - it's just so useful! I didn't even realise how many straight lines I've been needing all along!

I really do enjoy making tuts and all that. They teach me a lot most of the time.

Ohh shift key doesn't like my tablet pen too much :<. I do it and I get a very weird line from it T_T.

That's odd, hot keys correspond to programs, not hardware

I mean when I shift key to get a straight line with my tablet it doesn't stay as a nice clean symmetrical line :<. Like it becomes a line triangle or something :<.

Oh! Your brush settings is set to size jitter, remove all the brush dynamics and give that a shot. It will keep the size consistent.

This is extremely helpful to me because I fail at perspective.
Thank you!
