Three characters of the story I'm currently working on. I'm kind of moving away from the Marr and Dari story (which was never going anywhere...) and shifting focus to these OCs.

I encourage people to correct me on anything about hacking or its subculture I've twisted horribly. A big part of this project is getting that right, so I welcome any input or constructive criticism!

So, from left to right:

Beln: A former cyberwar specialist for the Armada, Beln specializes in military network intrusion and its many applications. Like most hackers, he works for hire. His military-based assignments and the tactics he uses to accomplish have labeled him as a Red - or cyberterrorist.

Iora: One of the hundreds of Operators of the Imperial Secret Service's Section 6 (IAI-NET Security), Iora is still new to her assignment. A fervent believer in the Empire, she takes her job of tracking unauthorized activates on the net very seriously. Iora’s skill with navigating the complex layered world of the net and her status as an imperial operator make her a Blue - a skilled user who defends the net and its information.

Runa: Born on planet Vort at an illegal PAK modification clinic, Runa was however kidnapped at a young age and forcibly integrated with a PAK. Runa learned how to crack the net to survive, as her status as a naturally born smeet put her on grounds for possible deletion. After being spared by a Section 6 officer named Lorr, Runa has gone to work - though unwillingly - for him, also taking hired jobs. Her ambiguous ethics and unclear motives make her a Grey.
