This brooch was a movement that I rebuilt. I had to take it apart to clean off some of the rust and to replace one gear. Then there was the challenge of getting it running -but now it is "Finger Powered!". I bought 4 of these movements - and so eventually I may produce another brooch. Still, due to the number of hours it takes - this is a very limited Edition!

The movement itself is brass and steel. This one had some superficial rust that was clogging up some of the finer bits - so I had to dismantle it and fix it up. I'm thrilled to be able to produce jewelry that "runs". It might take you a few mintues to figure out how to push the smaller wheel - at first I was pushing it way too hard - but after a few attempts she started to run.
