this really looks quite stunning - and I can't seem to get a photo that makes it look as good as I'd like. The glass tubes are "time delay fuses" - thus the title. The quartz glass is highly reflective - and yet it still shows the detail of the backdrop = this means that almost 90% of the shots drove me crazy. Finally, I ended up shooting on black. sigh.

The glass is a special strong glass - called quartz glass. These would normally hold a current so they can take the heat and are less likely to break. Good thing cause i dropped them on the floor like 10 times - it was a butter finger day.

it's - to me a lot more cyberpunk'd then steampunk - but for those who know me - you know how I write Science fiction short stories so there ya go.
