Description
This is to commemorate the end of Death Note according to the manga timeline. And yes, that is older Near.Coloring is still so difficult for me because I have such a hard time being bold, and have to start over and over again but then I realized that bold color just doesn't go well with a drawing like this. (Well, it probably could but it'd have to pulled off in the hands of a better talented person with color.)
But, I love Near's soft, peach face.
I don't submit a lot to DA cause I always feel sooo bad for not replying ;___;

It makes me feel more determined to conquer the faults I find in my coloring. And I also feel more confident that in the future, I'll be able to conquer color. I have the resources, I just need to sit down and blast through them. ^^

No problem, I didn't feel it was enough but I'm what I said actually had some effect on you!It brings me down, when I see comments like yours that say they didn't do well enough or something, I just want to bonk them on the head and set them straight you know?^^

Lol no one's saying to conquer it all in one day though,drawing is a hobby so don't tire yourself out over it, probably squeeze a few Near doodles here and there in between your expirementing colors and I'm sure you'll master coloring without even knowing it!Near and the others will help you

I agree. I hate Near, but, you make me love him in your drawings. I really like your style and you coloring is beautiful just the way it is.

what program do you work in, you can try to adjust color levels instead of starting over

I usually use SAI.
Sometimes I do adjust the Hue/Saturation/Value levels but i-it feels like I'm cheating or something... >_> /silly

Thank you. Coloring is so difficult for me. I need to study color theory and mess around with the paint I have. I'm too much of wuss to use them since they cost me a lot but I'm just gonna have to BELIEVE IN THE THE MYSELF THAT BELIEVES IN ME and just use them.
I hope I can master color someday. *shakes fist*

hahah well.. What I do sometimes is just take a lineart from dA and color that XD I don't upload them, just practice coloring on them XDD<3
