!!!!Spoilers for episode 7 of Umineko!!!!

This started out a fanciful scribble in my sketchbook and suddenly found it's way onto this submission when I digitally inked it for fun.

I've always been kinda shy about using outside resources when it comes to my drawings. I guess cause it opens up a whole new world of possibilities. The danger of overkill also becomes greater and there are a lot more elements you have to keep under control.
Anyway, it's been a while and I enjoyed it even though it was kinda hard to get it to look right.

I tried to keep a tight color palette with this drawing though it may have been a bit too tight.

I've started reading Umineko this past year and I really enjoy all of the characters. However, there really wasn't a character that I could definitively say that was my favorite.

But when I read episode 7, I liked Lion. She (Or he?) was fun and likeable; I enjoyed her playful interaction with Will and the rest of the cast.
But when I saw her with a different destiny as a lonely, lovesick maid named Yasu - she (and everything else that came from her) pretty much became my favorite character. It seems that she's a pretty controversial character from what I've seen and I can understand why, but I love her nonetheless.
