Words Below:
Aaron was a student at Magic Academy. Recently he had installed a new dating app on his phone and was eagerly looking forward to using it. This was no ordinary dating app. This was one exclusively designed for those skilled in the ways of magic.
On the screen were some runic symbols in a language he could not understand. One side of the screen had photos of boys and the other had photos of girls. Guessing these were the people he could date, he selected the side with the girls on it.
Next came more runic symbols which he could not understand followed by some numbers which he could. Aaron guessed these were age ranges. He wanted to date somebody close to his own age so he selected the older teens.
Then came the individual photos. Below each photo were more runes he could not understand. Aaron guessed it was a list of likes, dislikes, hobbies, and personal history. Even though he could not understand them, he decided to make the best of things and try to figure it out from the photos alone.
After going through several dozen photos, Aaron saw a photo he liked. It was of a girl wearing white with brown hair, brown eyes, black fingernails, and a black purse. She was holding a phone and appeared to be waiting for somebody. He clicked on a green checkmark below her photo.
The final thing for Aaron to select was the location. Since he was using a magical app, the locations were magical places all over the world. Again there were some runes he could not understand along with some numbers which he guessed was the price range.
Aaron selected a small restaurant flying the flag of Canada along with some numbers that did not appear too expensive. Once selected the words "Are you sure?" appeared on the screen, in English for once. He guessed this was some sort of legal requirement.
He hit the Y button. Instantly Arron disappeared. Less than a second later, April appeared at a small, inexpensive restaurant in Canada. She was wearing white with brown hair, brown eyes, black fingernails, and a black purse. Her phone had become like the one in the photo.
April, formerly Aaron, guessed instead of the person she wanted to date, she had selected the person she wanted to be for the date. Quickly she had to decide if she wanted to back out or just let things happen. Her fears subsided when she discovered her date was a girl who had become a boy due to making the exact same mistake.
They laughed at their own carelessness and agreed to go on the date. They walked into the restaurant together. Later on April discovered there was an option to translate the runes into English but the option was written in runes so she could not understand it. She guessed she had been making too many guesses and would try to be more careful in the future.
