Sarah Mortons and Erika Murray were Americans who went to Brazil to see the 2016 Olympics. They were walking through the park when two floating orbs, one blue and one yellow, came speeding towards them. The orbs swirled all around them. Sarah and Erika tried to catch them but were unable to do it. Then the two orbs went off in opposite directions.

Sarah went after the yellow orb, while Erika went after the blue one. Both orbs slowed down enough to be just out of reach. Sarah thought about how to catch the yellow orb. She slowed down to walking speed, causing the orb to slow down as well. Then she suddenly jumped forward and grabbed the orb.

At the same time, Erika thought about how to catch the blue orb. She turned around and headed in the other direction. The orb followed her. Once it was close enough, she turned around and grabbed the orb.

Both of them started to change. Sarah became taller, while Erika became smaller. Sarah's skin turned yellow, while Erika's skin turned blue. A tail grew out of Sarah while she gained various animal characteristics. Leaves grew out of Erika while she gained various plant characteristics.

Sarah watched her hands turn blue, except for her fingers, while her feet turned orange, except for her toes. She had four fingers on each hand and three toes on each foot. Her tail turned green, adding yet another color to the mix. Erika watched her hands turn orange, including her fingers, while her feet turned green. She also had four fingers on each hand, but her feet looked more like hooves without any toes at all.

Their features became more like an animation than the world they knew. This was also true for the environment around them. Both of their bodies became male, or at least their animated equivalent. This was more pronounced in Sarah, who had the features of many different animals, than in Erika, who had the features of many different plants.

Above her, or his, head, Sarah discovered his new name. It was Vinicius. Likewise, Erika found a name floating over her, or his, head as well. It was Tom. Vinicius and Tom took some time to get used to their new names.

The animated park had a race track going around it. Vinicius and Tom decided to race. Vinicius did so on foot, while Tom was in a wheelchair. Many different animals from all over the world showed up to watch the event. Both of them knew this would just be the first event of many.
