Thanks, I was using a camouflage hunting blind to try to get closer to feeding birds. It seemed to be puzzled my this funny bush and walked right up to me.

Pretty little birds. They are so different from the ones in England, but somehow have very similar personalities.

Both are very sweet birds! I love how they fill the evenings with their beautiful songs!

Lovely! The ones up here in the north, in the forest, sing mostly at dawn and dusk. They can start at 4:00 am in the summer. But in the Spring they do sing all day here too.

oh yes! It's usually the robin but sometimes it's the squirrel pelting my hammock with pine cones ...
