Description
NEW OWNER ~Ixi-Da-Pixie
Name: Royal Azure
Breed: SaddlebredxXxOtherworldly
Height: 15.3 hh
Gender: Stallion
Coloration: Cobalt blue adorned in zebra like stripes, the remaining pelt and belly being white. All hooves end in the same blue as pelt, very shiny and polished. Front pillars are marked with three single zebra strips just above the hoof. Mane and tail are black and white. Mane starts out black and juts right into white, as does the tail which is very long and full. A white patch encircles the eyes that make them stand out more.
Eyes: Grey blue
Discipline: Show, Pleasure and Driving
Age: 5
Hereditary Traits: Zebra stripes. Does not matter where they appear, as long as at least one stripe is visible. Coloration can be passed on to offspring, but is not limited to.
Personality: Often you can find the stallion staring at his own reflection, in love with his own handsome looks of deep blue and bold black stripes. One of our most prized stallions of Willow Tree, Azure (for short) is very much a prideful and arrogant stallion that took some time to get control of. A short temper often gets the blue stallion put in his stall for a few days with no mares near him to boost his ego, he can turn to be the humblest of studs if he could have a single mare looking on with interest in the end. Azure likes strong mares, not so wild but with a matching temper and will to produce the best of offspring. Flair of colors in the mare also catches his attention, many of the mares heβs come across being blues in coat. But most of all, it is the deep violet mares, the faes of purple and orchid that capture his heart.
History: Pampered from the moment he was dropped, the little blue and white colt was a show off. He loved all the attention he received, sometimes demanded it by doing a trick or two for and audience. Often though, it only got him into trouble when no one was around. A pail of feed would be kicked over or a halter would be chewed through. His ego only grew once he was able to run with the fillies of his age and younger, prancing around on skinny white pillars and throwing his duo colored banner in the air behind him, short and curly as it was at that young of age. Once Azure realized that he was not the most beautiful stallion there was in the world and that there was some competition from the other stallions, Azure became more aggressive towards any other male, equine or human, that came near him and the mares. He thinks all mares are his by right. Poor boy.

Eff, he's a pure Saddlebred, too bad he's retired! It is sooo freakin' hard to find purebred Saddlebred horses, but with fantasy coats. I would have loved to breed him to Psychedelia . :3 Alas, alas, alas and alack! xD Extra-alas because none of his offspring were "purebred" Saddlebred either
His zebra stripes are such a head-turner.

He has a different owner.
And I THINK she has him up for stud on her account.

Now, this boy is definitely my favorite stallion.
Markings are simply lovely, and so unique.
How do you think of such things?
Well done! Your anatomy on horses is stunning.

Soon, I'll be sure to make a comment about it in my future Journals! Also, since you commented here, I can also send you a note as well right after I open up his breeding again.

Gorgeous coloration. His name fits him well. That downcast gaze you drew him in is wonderful. I like the smooth transition of his fur design. Lovely work.

For the moment, I don't even have a Stable Journal up and running, but I'll be sure to let you breed the mare to the stud once I have it set up. Thank you for asking ahead of time!
