By the time I flew back to the park to retrieve my bike (and turn back into plain ol’ Deej), the robots were gone so I assume the police picked ‘em up. Excellent response time!I was glad to hit the sack. It had been a full day with just enough comfortable sameness and a smidge of mystery thrown in. And that’s kind of what my whole life has been like. Or, I assume so.
See, something else you don’t know about me: I don’t have any memories prior to fourteen months ago. Not since the day I walked out of the desert....
