Description This is the Dev Sheet for Knight 01 Eris, Alexia Nor Rai's mecha and as such the command unit of the Knight team. Knight 01 functions as a multipurpose well rounded base unit but is often outfitted with a range of mission specific add-on systems including variants of the massive longbow weapons platform used by Gale 01.

Knight 01 is equipped with a VC Command fin on its head. The torso is heavily built-up with an expansion deck on the front of the mecha – which is responsible for its feminine appearance- so it can house larger generator and radiators. The unit's back is dominated by two MSB fluid tanks that feed a pair of MSB launchers/vulcans mounted in the mecha's collar and a set of sword sheaths found under the arms.

The mecha's primary thruster is flanked by those MSB tanks while additional thrusters are located on the backs of Knight 01's legs. The legs additionally include storage space for a single cyclical magazine on the thigh and the lower legs are often outfitted with a small mini-missile launcher attached to the unit's knee guard.

Knight 01's primary weapon is a "Variable Rifle" a high caliber rifle that can switch from an average size battle rifle to a full length marksman rifle thanks to a flip up under-barrel stored barrel extension, a high-powered sensor, and other provisions for accurate shooting.

Additionally Knight 01 commonly launches with a standard shield which can store two additional cyclical magazines and even the variable rifle itself on it's back. similarly the mecha sometimes equips arm guards that feature storage space for an additional two magazines.

Interesting but honestly i would of gone towards of a rounded but sharp edge look.

I've got a lot more to go. With Knight 01 I still need to draw the lower leg from the front and back, lock down the mini-missile launcher design and the knee guard it attaches to some portions on the hips need to be focused on a bit more. I'm completely at a lose for what I'm going to do with the shoulders and I'm considering adding grapple lines to the forearms. and that's just the base unit. I've got to define the Variable Rifle, the shield and arm-guards and the other portions of the longbow attachment.
