Marverran Blastoise hunt down their prey relentlessly. Aside from fish Pokemon, Blastoise has been seen to battle and feed on Gyarados. It uses its signature move, Harpoon Assault, to launch its harpoons to pierce whoever it battles. Once ensared, Blastoise's cannons will reel them in. The initial impact of its move will usually cause its victim to be knocked unconscious or to die. If its victim somehow survives the initial impact, it becomes nearly impossible for them to remove the harpoon stuck in them. If the harpoon is removed, they will bleed out and their guts can spill out. Blastoise also uses its harpoons to runaway or travel quickly. Its shell has a special organ in it that will absorb water to build up pressure in its cannons to power-up its attacks and enabling it to fire its harpoons faster and farther.

Evolves from Wartortle at level 36, which evolves from Squirtle at level 16.
