My entry for dA-Morgue 's Apocalypse contest,Advance level.

I came very close to not entering this contest,because I couldn't think of anything. At least not anything I wanted to do,beyond the obligatory scenes of scraggy men and women in ratty clothes...or doberman-mean men and women in metal-studded black leather / homemade armor,brandishing oversized weaponry...set against a background of a ruined city in a bleak landscape. I'd already done stuff like that several times.
The concept of the apocalypse has long since been adopted by our popular entertainment, The Terminator introducing the idea of using time travel to change the existing bleak outcome.

I actually started this with the face of the young man at the computer. Then I duplicated his face,then took that face and aged it,changed the expression...and the rest just suggested itself.

9/3/2020......The results were announced. I didn't win.
Hmmm....maybe I should've gone the whole ruined-city-in-a-bleak-landscape route.
