I also had just gotten my pinkie pie....idk if i should try this or do a normal blind bag custom... ^_^ btw can you do a tutorial on how you can get the body another color than dye because I don't have any dye,i kinda already tried nail polish but it kinda came off,so I was just looking for some sugestions.

Small question. I have unheaded my pony, but I can't get the plug out. *cut myself trice already now* It is, however, one of those new chrystal ponies, and the plug seems different from the one you have there. The color is at least. Do you know something that might work?

The Fluttershy I used was an obvious imposter (it's a cheap version for Easter or something, worse hair and unaccurate eyes, good for customs!)

having trouble getting my plug out... Β can you do any of this with the crystal empire ponies? Are crystal empire ponies hollow? Β I got my head off...

Either I have a cruddy exactly knife, or this is really hard for me. I've done it like six times, seriously gashed myself twice (still got a scar on my thumb) and I can't get a smooth cut.
How do you do it? You make it look so easy.

I cant get the head detached from the body......How many minutes does the head need to boil in water -.- Stupid peg.....

You know, in Ye Olden Dayes "bait" meant something that is either a). in poor condition, or b). G3. Back then, most others were repaired, or left as-is.

I do have a question though: Are you supposed to glue the plug back in once you've finished painting/re-hairing the pony? Or do you just glue the head on so it can't move?

I put the plug into the pony's head, then put my super glue around the inside lip of the neck, and push the head and the plug into the body. Hope that helps!

Do you know if there's anything you can do if the peg breaks when you're trying to take the head off? I've beheaded three ponies so far, and the third one's peg broke in half >.>

The only thing I can't do for a custom is re-hair... I don't have anything to use. I really just need to get the money to commission one... Plus I don't think I can behead Fluttershy... She (or Dash) are the ones I'd need to decapitate to make my Ponysona.

I beheaded one of my Fluttershys just a little while ago -- it's much easier if you soak the pony in hot water for a few minutes before to soften up the plastic. (and it's easier to paste the peg back onto the pony later)
