would you give someone yelling at you a real smile?
with the fucking eyes.

well ... i know i friggin' wouldn't.
people who yell at me get the c-bomb dropped. guy or girl.
doesn't matter.
like the ungrateful bastard who i got rep'd by an agency who says, "dude ... stop making her look at you. i can't get anything."
he'd probably burned through a 1gb card.
the one thing about line shooters ... they don't care about making something interesting.
just the standard eye-contact-head-shot.
or 20 of them.

there are alpha dogs and dogs who lay at the ground spreading their legs.

anyway ... this 85/1.2L ... i see with it the way i see with my leica m's. different ... but much the same.
i saw washed out with backlight.
focused on her left eye.
magical bokeh of some fucked up background that ends up looking cool.
bumping the contrast.
adding some noise to the noise that's alread inherent at 800 iso.
i can't believe how much i love this lens.
sadly ... the leicas have suffered ever since the new baby arrived as it were.

canon e1dm2. 85/1.2L. 1/500th or so. f1/2. 800 iso. converted to b/w in ps cs with custom channel mixing actions. bumped contrast. adj levels.

i used that lens too for a photosession few days ago and i loved that lens too but since i cant afford it yet so I can only borrow it from a friend..

this is very beautiful. and I REALLY don't like Mischa Barton *shot at by crazed pre-teen girls* but in this photo she is very pretty and kind looking like an....an acctual person...not some teen idol. you have done an incredibly wonderfull job at captureing celebs.

i love the connection that she is making with the camera, and the wonderful photographer. its obvious that there is some sort of a connection, and that connection is what makes or breaks a photo, and it definatly made it.
