I disagree, I think the grainy, speckled white areas make it look cool - almost like the white plates are made out of some kind of ancient rock, or marble or something like that. And while everyone knows it's made out of some kind of wierd, exotic psycho-plastic like everything ELSE the Eldar use, it looks cool regardless.
