Would it be legal to equip a Blood Claw with 2 chainswords?

Great work mate! Very clean, crisp paint job. The paint job gives them a decent unity as a squad, which I think can get overlooked sometimes and can really finish a squad nicely.

Oh yes! They are fantastic.
I'm working on some "Wolves" of my own at the moment, doing my in the style of Space Hulk (I'm not a Space Wolf player really), where each Marine is a separate character with their own weapons, so one for example has a pair of lightning claws, the other has a thunder hammer and shield, so on and so forth.
It's something I plan for a scenic project rather than an army project, and who knows, if it works alongside my Dread, I might have two entries for GD next year!
I'm doing mine in Pre-Heresy colours so I figure is I avoid using the Mk7 helmets, and use only the human heads, beaky helmets and the Wolf helmets that should constitute pre-heresy armour.
It's unfortunate the legs are Mk7, but I think I might be able to get round that with some form of excuse.

sweet cant wait to see the end results!! im doing something with the wolves in the sense that the more intricate the armour and markings get as they get older, eg: Blood Claws have pretty basic armour, Grey Hunters introduce some studs to the edges of armour, some celtic designs painted onto them {and of course a bit of grey around the temples of their hair}, Long fangs will have pretty intricate detailing {hopefully}

An interesting concept, which I actually could imagine the Space Wolves following. Other chapters just seem to throw armour together, but with them, they do appear to follow tradition and ideals more akin to that of past clan systems, like for example, the Vikings.
I know everyone thinks of Space Wolves as Vikings in power armour, but when you look at their inspiration historically, they too had a way of having more intricately designed items the higher the status, like for example, the Viking warrior had a basic shield, yet the chieftain might have something a lot more ornate. The king of the Norse or in this case, Primarch of the Space Wolves, would have the most intricate armour and weapons of all of them.

Have you ever thought about blood effects on the armor and weapons? I did simple squad of world eaters and well pretty much covered them in blood with a nice coat of gloss. It looks pretty good and rather realistic in my opinion. I bet a squad of Space Wolves would look pretty vicious, especially if one of those fellows with a chainsword had a smattering of effects.

awesome paint-job but for some reason I really dislike the s'wolves- combing viking look with futuristic 40k just doesnt seem right
