For those that just want the image overlay to use in Photoshop or GIMP, here's my reply to an earlier post about it. The image is there in the package, you just have to find it. Hope this helps!

***********************
I don't use Photoshop (because Adobe wants WAY too much $$$ for it) but I do know what you mean. I use GIMP , which does just about everything PS does, but it's free...

Anyway, I wanted to get this overlay to use as a layer for my own desktop without installing all of that other crap, so I downloaded the deviation package from here and took a look. It's there, you just have to change one filename to get to it! Here's how:

1) Download and save this deviation package to your local hard drive.

2) Decompress the package using WinRAR or some other compression package that supports .rar files.

3) Decompress the second .rar file that you should now have, called "Broken Desktop--by Somrat.rar".

4) You should now have a ".sam" file, which is the so-called Samurize config package. I knew this had to be some kind of regular archive file so I took a guess and changed the extension to ".gz" and voila it worked! The SAM file is really just a renamed GZIP file. So, rename "Broken Desktop--By Somrat.sam" to "Broken Desktop--By Somrat.gz" and then open it.

5) Look in the "skins" subdirectory and you'll see a bunch of PNGs. They are all the same overlay, just different sizes. Tada, there's the image!

You should know what to do from there. I pulled one into GIMP, added it as a layer on top of my desktop image, then exported it all to JPEG. Presto, new desktop!

PSD file of that crack would be even better, since I guess that most people, including myself, don't have samurize, but would love to use the 'crack'.
