It works. Most of the time it doesn't work because of incorrect links taken.

I used your code to for my own custom box. Only problem I'm having, is how can I get the image to show completely in the box without parts of it getting cut off?

Get an image which has larger height.

Well I made the image 829px in width and 1501px in height. What size do you think image should be to work? Or is it really possible to border on background image for a box?

CypherVisor In reply to DIY-Gamer [2014-09-24 19:25:41 +0000 UTC]
There is no ideal size for the bg because it depends on the screen resolution. If someone has a big resolution screen your bg might not cover the whole width but in smaller resolution screens it will be shown fine. It's better to get an image that cover the highest resolution so that it cover a big resolution screen and also the smaller ones.

Hi, so I have a slight problem. Everything works and all, except the background appears zoomed out. I used your code for my custom box titled "kyun <3". I would like my background to appear full-size like my donation pool's background, if possible. Any solutions?
Thank you! <3

Okay, this is a problem with the browser. Different browser interprets the code in different way. Can't help it.

Okay, you mean to say content-holder boxes. You can't make them thinner as such.

It won't work for me.. I use the link and place the URL in the right spot, as well as my text, and nothing.. It just shows the text and the link to my URL..

CypherVisor In reply to ColorGush [2014-08-11 05:30:16 +0000 UTC]
You need to insert the Image-URL and not the page URL. Check FAQ#17 here: cyphervisor.deviantart.com/jou…

This works superbly!
However since I write a lot, or put alot of content in my custom boxes, i just changed the image size to 800 x 3000
and it still works just fine.
This was really helpful! ^^

Yep, it is best to have a larger bg if you have more content your box.
And I am glad this helped you!
