I was wondering, when using the columns in a custom box they work fine and don't touch each other. When using them in a journal, however, the ends of the boxes do touch but otherwise they work perfectly fine. Is there a way to fix this? And also, I don't really understand how you add in more columns.... //weep

It is not made for journals so yeah, this problem will be there. You can instead create custom columns in journals by simply coding the CSS in your journal skin btw.

For widening check this: cyphervisor.deviantart.com/art…

And try and increase the box size by inserting
tags at the bottom of your codes

Put the left and right column code in a single line (without any line-breaks)

Veiaa In reply to ??? [2014-05-27 23:59:24 +0000 UTC]

Could you put an image behind both content holders with an code?

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

CypherVisor In reply to Veiaa [2014-05-28 13:01:21 +0000 UTC]

Nah. you need to use the custombox bg code for that. You can see the tut here: cyphervisor.deviantart.com/art…

And if you want to have the content-holder box with the bg then you need to paste the content-holder box code in the "body text here..." part of the custom bg code.

CypherVisor In reply to Ioups [2014-05-10 20:42:16 +0000 UTC]

Yes it will. If you want to have a box then use content-holder box codes as explained in the tutorial.

OuijaBoardum In reply to ??? [2014-04-24 22:56:22 +0000 UTC]

Just a quick question. I'm using this code, and it's perfect, but I can't seem to add a content holder box under the columns. I can put one above them, but not below; the code just vanishes when I save it.

CypherVisor In reply to OuijaBoardum [2014-04-25 16:06:05 +0000 UTC]

Check if you are leaving out any

class or other closing tag for your codes.

I cope/pasted a ton of 's on the end just in case, but it still keeps happening for some reason o.o
To be honest, I've not played with code for a long time, so I've probably missed something crucial somewhere xD I'll keep fiddling and see if I can right it :3

CypherVisor In reply to Whacked-Muffin [2014-04-22 17:15:16 +0000 UTC]

If you want boxes to appear then you gotta use content-holder boxes code inside it. It is explained well in the tutorial I guess.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Whacked-Muffin In reply to CypherVisor [2014-04-22 19:52:39 +0000 UTC]

Alright... well, I looked at the content holder. It had it's own title and subtitle, so.. how would I combine the collumn codes with the content holder?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CypherVisor In reply to Whacked-Muffin [2014-04-24 15:48:01 +0000 UTC]

I think I have explained that in the "Customize the column" section of the tutorial. Please go through that.

ScoSco-8 In reply to ??? [2014-04-01 19:25:18 +0000 UTC]

This works for me up until I start trying to add in other custom buttons. Then it separates the columns and makes them line down in a single row and they get narrow, even though I've also added in the Wide box code. :/

CypherVisor In reply to ScoSco-8 [2014-04-03 16:25:18 +0000 UTC]

May I see the code that you are using? (you can send me via note)

ScoSco-8 In reply to CypherVisor [2014-04-03 16:36:26 +0000 UTC]

I figured it out! For some reason when i was using the code for the Elnino Content holder, it would mess everything up and wouldn't work. But I tried another code I had been using for a content box holder <*div class="cctextarea" *> and everything worked out perfectly. My page looks like the way I wanted it to.
