can you do this for the donation box widget?

Yes, but it is buggy. The poll bar gets covered.

Are you using the width or height property in the background image tag? If yes, then that could be causing the problem. Try deleting the width or height property from it and try again.

Since dA have changed something in the custom boxes it's great that you gave us tips how we can stretch the background images.
However, I still have a tiny problem.
I stretched my backgrounds in that original size they have (ex. space background, width 2550 px, height 1600 px)
Yes I'm using large BGs. My intention is that the box takes a part of the complete image as background.
But still the backrounds are disorted vertically. Is there a possibility how to keep the origingal size without a vertical disortion?

I had found a solution for that I believe but now I have forgotten.
I'll check it out and update it.

Well, that's okay. I can get used to the little disortion
And if you found a solution I'll check it out next time

I think you are using the width and height property in your img tag for your image. Just remove those and it should be fine.

I even tried removing the width and height property. But the image automatically adjust itself the size proportional in the size how width of my custom box is. The rest of the custom box below will be a blank grey space

try using width="100%" or height="100%" and see if it works.

By typing width="100%" the image adjust by the width of the custom box proportionally (blank space still be there below)
By typing height="100%" the image is stretched though but it's still disordered just like when I typed the original heith and width of the image.

Are you by chance using Chrome? If so, then let me tell you that Chrome has these code compatibility issues.

No. I'm using Opera. I assume that it might have similar issues with the code compatibility such like Chrome

Just check it in firefox or IE if possible. If these browsers works correctly then it's a browser issue.

I could try. But on the other side I got used to it even if the images for my custom boxes are disorted d:

When I do it this time, its making the actual deviation really small, is there a way to fix it it?

Just copy the deviation-image-link when it is in the normal mode (not in the edit mode)

Is it possible to do the same thing with "Newest Deviations" widget?
and also make it to work correct(auto-update of newest artworks, or i have to change it by myself )
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
CypherVisor In reply to Sass-Haunted [2013-11-11 19:50:37 +0000 UTC]
Yes it is possible for newest deviation but auto-update won't be happening. You need to update it manually each time you upload a new deviation.

As I thought. And another question:
Which HTML codes i'm as supposed to use when i want to put background into box with slideshow?

CypherVisor In reply to Sass-Haunted [2013-12-29 10:16:46 +0000 UTC]
The slideshow is a problem actually. I haven't got a working code to bg for a deviation widget with slideshow. I'll surely share it if I get one!

Okay, I will be waiting until you find for this code ^^
BTW:If You remember: I see your note but i've lost html code for sta.sh/0luk8k9cchm
I guess i need to create it once again. I will call you back when the same problem will appear.

Yeah I remember. Even it would have to backtrack it like way back to find that note of yours.
And sure, let me know when you need me.

Use
tags at the bottom of the codes as many times you want to force the box to increase by height.
