you mean the image has got huge? If yes, then just take the deviation_image_url when your featured deviation is not in editing mode.

I'm trying to get a background for my featured deviation. Sorry for being inaccurate... The problem is, I think, the deviation is a bit too big.

you should get the deviation image URL when its not in the editing mode...

I have done this, I do not know how many times, and my feature image keeps showing up as a broken image. Please tell me what I am doing wrong. I did it on my last section on my page under the "Christmas Card section"....Thanks

Possibly, the image URL that you are taking is incorrect.

The problem will still be because of incorrect URL usage. Check your URLs properly and see if they are insert at the correct places.

Where it say's 'Description text here' I put a few thumbnails of my other work related to the featured image, however the thumbnails seem to be cut off at the bottom, like the box isn't long enough?

To increase the height of your box. Use
tags at the bottom of the codes as many times you want.

I think there is a problem in your deviation-image-URL while copying. Check if the image links are fine.
And for the text... please copy the existing content and re-write your content in the "body text here.." part of the code.

if it doesn't work, make sure you have the links in the right spot. Like for example, the Background URL (basically click download on the picture you want for you BG) goes in the background slot, the LINK TO THE PAGE WITH THE DEVIATION (not the pictures actual downloaded URL) goes in the "deviation URL" and the ACTUAL DOWNLOADED FULL SIZE URL goes in the "deviation-image-url"
I had those last two mixed up but once I switched they worked! Now the issue i'm having is how big the picture is that I want to display D:

What if the featured deviation is not an image? What then?

I have an issue that makes the background completely cover my picture. Is there any way to fix this? I put all the coding in the correct place, and it is just on the featured box where it does this.

Probably you are interchanging the deviation image URL with the background image URL. just check.
