I'm using Mozilla Firefox too, but when I rightclick the picture, I get a menu where I can't see the Link Location!

This is very helpful but i couldnt get the "copy link location" in any browser Explorer Firefox and chrome. what can i do?

You should get the content menu "copy link location" if you are using Firefox. :hhm:

this is really cool but to make it easier for people when you said 'Background-image-URL' you should let everyone know to replace the " " in the code to ' ' that was my major problem with it.

yeah but I'm just learning it here and there i dont have any of the basics or anything. im still trying to get a nice computer so i can give it like 36GBs of ram and have like 4 2TBs of external hard drives

Did you try with any other image link? May be you can upload your image to sta.sh or another image hosting site and try with the new link.

Well, the codes looks all good to me. Have you tried pasting the direct image link in your address and run it. If it doesn't show up the image then something is wrong in the image hosting site.

I don't really see the difference between getting the white font and the black font. I'm having problems with my background being too dark to see the defaulted text color, and i wanted to know how to change it :/

Ah okay. I've been wondering about this for a while then someone pointed me to the tutorials of custom boxes, which helps with what I wanted (to have readable text on custom backgrounds). I hope they allow a way to change colors one day. thanks for responding and for doing so much hard work for the community :3

Guhhhh. I followed the image sizing and everything and 800x900 is just way too huge, but anything just a lil smaller somehow just.. doesn't work. I'm so confused. >:

Which image are you talking about? the background or the deviation?

You can use a bigger resolution background to cover your widget if it is falling short.

ok tbh idk what I did wrong but I had every single error -.- plus my text was like 3 times the size and not on the page and no matter what link I used for my custom bg it didn't show up...
I will be very honest when I say I've NEVER used css before so I know it's something I'm doing wrong -.- it's just...I was given a premium membership and I really want to spice up my profile but doing so just seems to be making my head spin >____<
