Anyway, since I've been asked a couple of times by now how exactly I do my ear poses, I threw together a little guide that should help you.
I used my latest picture for that.

Oh, uh one more thing. I don't want to sound like I'm dissecting everything you do, in reality I just want to make my pictures less shite... Unlike some if not most of Gmod ponies *sigh* I think you mentioned an advanced lamp tool in your tutorial. I tried to find it, but to no avail. Is there any real benefit to using them? Do you get better lighting? On that note, what size of light do you use for your rimlighing? The solid large circle, the half opaque one or the really smooth one? Thanks for the help BTW

The only real benefit of advanced lamps is that it casts no shadows. That can be helpful to avoid shadows over certain features you want to illuminate. If you use them too much though, your pic has very little shadows and looks flat as fuck. Happened to me some times. Plus, they are not saved, meaning when you load a savegame they no longer work.
At the moment I'm using pretty much only normal lamps. For the rimlight I use the hard circle with a FOV of approximately 35.

I remember using those pesky advanced lamps... I'd load a save and have all my hard-earned lighting stripped like Rainbow Dash at da club....bad puns aside.

Freeze the ears, pose them and then grab the head. It will be interesting

Though the Ragdoll Mover seems to be kind of buggy for me sometimes. Unless maybe there's something I'm not doing right...

A GMod upadte broke it some time ago. Just unsubscribe and resubscribe again, and it should work just fine.
