Description
because the world needs another Eye tutorialsomebody asked...nyeah. Not sure what animal it is, most likely a wolf..it looks wolfish but I want really going for any certain shape..I just drew something real fast.
Mainly photoshop, som OC in here. Full view recommended of course unless you have a slow computer because it might just freeze^^ yay for 1000something x 3000something pixels!
possibly my last deviation for a while. I start school tomorrow and it shall kill me ; ;
so now you know what my eyes look like upclose..sorda. See! not so impressive and not so original XP
my little space filler doodles were random because I felt those spots looked empty and then ran out of doodle ideas to put in the others O_O
ignore all mispellings in this deviation if there are any XD the picture was to huge and I didnt want to read over all my text I just wrote. yeah yeah, Im a lazy person..so sue me.
if yall want more OC fur stuff, I have a OC fur tutorial [link] [link]
I have none for photoshop, but its not all that original either =/ there are other tutorials on the web^^

Not so many comments huh I don't think mine is helping a lot, but I really should say that: the artists who make a tutorials to share their secrets with another artists are the greatest people in this earth. Some of those peeps who are using a tutorials goes straight through the process and doing everything that says on teh tut. But somebody will put their own imagination to it and I think it's good. Anywayz Daisy, thank you for your gorgeous tutorials and your improbable generosity and kindness.

In photography, the light reflected in a person's/animal's eye(s) is called a catchlight. They usually add a lot to the image.
Wonderful tutorial

I'm not a big fan of the burn and dodge tool, they usuly make a sheep shading. But wow! they do have some great use for this purpose

daisy7 In reply to Abstormal [2005-08-29 13:41:38 +0000 UTC]
I only use dodge and burn for eyes, I never use it on anything else^^

Abstormal In reply to daisy7 [2005-08-29 13:48:24 +0000 UTC]
I have noticed. You can see it from a mile away when they use only the dodge and burn tool for shading, no painting at all exept for the grounding.
Good for beginners, but thats it.

You are truly an inspiring artist Daisy, not simply for the reason of being immensly talented but generous enough to share your techniques with your fellow artists! That in itself shows how selfless you are and how willing to help others grow alongside you! Bravo to you daisy. Also seems you use some of the techniques I do ^__^.. I need to get oc O_O

yeah I know what the heck am I thinking O_O Ill check the animal section here in the next couple of days to see the "same style" over and over again XD just joking, I know it wont happen and if it did, it doesnt matter much I think just about everybody who does realistic animals in photoshop uses similar techniques XP kinda hard to think of anything different O_o
