Description
Hey! Here's another new genre story from (story/script) and myself (art/letters). I'm going to try to Wally Wood the crap out of this one, if I can! It's a challenge, I normally don't do "shiny".Hope you enjoy!

Very cool page! It reminds me a bit of the classic sci-fi comics from 50's. Great work!

I like the visual 2001 ref with that face. You do shiny so well.

Thanks! Shiny is tough for me, but I'm trying to emulate a master in this story.

Your usual awesomesauce.
I feel for the guy, I do. But he needs to be stopped...right after I hire the mutant whore.

Thanks! This guy's got a lot of Travis Bickle in him, methinks.

Jesus. That bottom panel alone with the face is a wonder of inking in and of itself. You captured the reflectiveness of the glass perfectly.
Great to see another joint venture between you and Larry.

Thanks, Zoe! I was trying to evoke something along the lines of that famous shot of Dave Bowman in his EVA helmet from 2001: A Space Odyssey. Tough to do in b&w!

That scene from 2001 was exactly the scene I thought of when I looked at your drawing. That was no easy feat to draw something like that. My hat's off to you.

I'm too old and stubborn to switch now! I did give it a try once with a cheap tablet, didn't like it.
Plus, one of the main reasons I *DO* comics is so that I can enjoy the ink on paper when I'm done.
On the other hand, digital would make it easier to do zip-a-tone style effects rather than the poor-man's method I use (hand-ruled lines, I am a glutton for punishment).

You're too much a master of traditional inking to switch.

It can be awesome but is so amazing at traditional inks he should never change.

I am so captivated by what you did here. This is has so much power and you are doing Wally Wood proud with this, I really feel it. I know what happens, but you make it seem like I am reading it for the very first time. Amazing work Chris. This is so stunning.

Thanks, Larry. I spent a lot of time on this one, I really wanted to get it right. I still see some flaws, but mostly because I've been staring at it closely for the last week.

Well I guess when you go over every little bit as much as you do I bet you could find something wrong, but it looks so right, it is so good. I am so psyched to see this to completion. Keep doing your thing!
