Beautiful.Β The emotion, the tenderness, the colour.Β I love that lady's hair, nails, and flowers.Β The guy looks totally absorbed in her, as if she means the world to him.Β Aw!Β So romantic.Β They are very much a wonderful duo.Β I wish them well.Β You've captured their love here so wonderfully, it's like everything else in the world falls away.Β And they're they only two people in it.Β So amazing.Β

Fantastic colored pencil piece! Β The colour contrast is simply awesome, and the way they look at each other...so intense... What I like is, that this drawing is most realistic without being overdone. Exactly the right mixture of detailed work and easyness I love so much in really good colored pencil drawings!Β

Thank you, I'm really proud of it myself. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by approach, I simply laid down colors that I felt were coming through in the photo. I wanted to have different colors for the two of them but kinda complementing and reflecting off of each other. Obviously the colors are very different from the reference but I used it as a guide in a way, but pumped up and distorted through my initial color scheme idea - for example the green on her chin came from a slightly greenish shade I caught on the photo itself.Β

You're back!! I was wondering where you'd been! Β This piece is lovely, and your skill with colored pencils is excellent, so smooth and well-blended. I love the tinge of blue and pink in the skin tone. I've been meaning to get into colored penciling, only played with them once or twice. They're harder to work with than they seem!
