Thank you so much! Hair is really challenging to draw in pencil is it not?

You did a really good way to do traditional style here I like the hairstyle and wings. Nice eyes and nose too

This is a very good piece. If you really want to make it pop (and this will likely improve your own opinion of it) erase a couple of very small dots in the eyes to simulate reflected light. That will add the life-like quality she is missing.

Thank you so much for the suggestion ^^ I really thought about that, too while I was drawing it (since the photo it's based on had no bounced light) and I erroneously decided to stick to the photo. The drawing is no longer with me but I will check how it looks in photoshop.

Yeah, play around with it in ps, that way if you don't like how it looks you can always undo it. Photos are great reference material, but sometimes the drawn images requires a bit more of a dynamic feel to make it really look alive.

I don't know why you don't like it, it's absolutely gorgeous. Β I understand though because I'm that way with my older art and sometimes my art in general after some time has passed when I finished it.

Maybe it's because I've long moved on from this sweeter kind of thing (butterflies, flowers, etc), it feels too decorative to me now. I'm realy glad people still enjoy it so much, though. Thank you for the sweet comment
