I sketched this yesterday. Then I woke up at SIX FREAKING AM TODAY so I colored it all this morning.And yeah there is alot of dodge. Except it's actually not dodge. It's layering effects. But whatever, it looks like DESU so it's basically the same thing.
It's my first time drawing a dragon. And I bet it shows aha. Fwah I am tired, imma go get me some CEREAL. :B

That's beautiful, Raven, I love the details - especially the lighting on the dragon's scales.
"Advanced critique encouraged"...hmm...well, the only thing I could say would be to bring out the contrast more because of the harsh fiery lighting.

Hmm critique. The main thing I noticed was that she doesn't really look like she's sitting ON the dragon... it looks kinda like she's about to fall off. I'm not really sure how you'd fix it though

Despite the fact that you said it's 'desu', I like a bit of that quality in this. It's very well done, and that dragon looks great for a first try. I love the scales on the stomach, and the overall feel of the picture. The background is lovely, and the lights seem to make the picture pop. Great work!

The scale effect was very effective, it's somethig that bothers a lot and you found a good solution for it.

The girl's hair and dress are very good too!! You didn't forget it's made of strings and locks (some people do)
'sides that, the fire needs to be improved. It's still not convincing. The shading is, too, a bit weak; I suggest you to work on that, though you've got a marvelous headstart already.
I think this is for a fav, too!
