Excellent work Dan. The colouring is flawless. The lighting and shadows are brilliant and the extra little touches like the sparks from the wire and the texture of the ceiling are great. Super sweet!

The angle on this is wonderful, and the sheer level of details is great. The pen on the floor, the keyboard, sparks etc. Poor little pinned spider. As usual, you talent shines through

First, I have to say that this angel's one of my favorite's (both to draw, and to see). So, that's one for Mr. Brooks 
I hope you realise that this page/panel is so impressive, it deserves to be made into as much promotional material y'all can get out of it. No shit! You are not a lazy colorist!
The Doctor's tentacles react to Everything around them. 2 light sources (beautifully, too), Spidey, Octavius, the counter, the trashed cabinet, the floor, the things on the floor
...and, yeah, the rest's good, too.

i love the reflection of the surroundings on the tentacles, they look incredible.
my only crit are the ceiling panels. i dunno they seem a bit too reflective or liquid-like. but it's nothing i'm still picking this up fa sho!!

Yeah, I totally agree with you on that. Really, I would have done more with it, but time was not my friend on this project. Somethings just had to be rushed, which I hated. I guess it's just somethnig that I'll have to adjust to so my work doesn't look like that in somespots.

Again, that is awesome. I picked up the Marvel Age 1 issue two weeks ago and it looks great! You guys make a great team. Would be fun to see you take on big guys like Sups or The Batman. nice job

Batman would be ten times cooler to work on then superman, because I'd be aloud to go with darker color schemes unline this spidey Marvel Age series. I didn't like that it had to be lightened up but I understood why. I preffer darker colors though. Adds believability, I think.
A batman comic book would be perfect for that.

Thats an amazing image!!! Love the possioning of the characters and the camera angle. I also really like the colors, the metal arms of Doc Oct really look good. The only thing I dislike about this image, color wise, is how bright the Doc Octs green suite looks. I know it is supposed to be that color, but it makes Doc Oct look less threatening.

Believe me if I could I would go with a completely different colors scheme. This comic book isn't ment to be believable. If you think that this is bright then check this preview out. My guess is that it'll be printed out bright like this as well. Not my doing.

A lot of what I did was seriously edited to suit a business standpoint for whom these comics are geared towards. So I don't like it but I understand why they're doing it.
I prefer darker looking characters.

wow they edit your great work to suite your needs. it stuff like that which makes me not want to even get involved in the illustration world. I took 4 years of illustration in college and I was greatly discouraged how much power "editors" have over the work of artists, not to mention that fact that they claim ownership of your work after you finish it and never give it back

Thank God for you Danimation... You do the most incredible color jobs. Nice pic on the lines too, ofcourse you always seem to pic excellent lines to color. textures are in the right places and I especially love the job you did on the tentacles. Its really hard to nail those reflective properties. Nice job conveying the lighting too. Keep up the awsome work!

(erm, although the numbers on the number pad of the keyboard are in the wrong order
