Description
YAY a tutorial! I don't normally do these, but I've been asked before - and since I'm currently working on so many pieces of art, I figured I might as well do some tutorials at the same timeCharacter portrayed is (c) Copyright . I'm making a full color picture of her as a free-sketch even prize for *bratkitty , so this is the process I used to draw up her sketch
More tutorials to come!

This really helps me with my anatomy. I've had tons of problems finding a tutorial that told all the proportions.
One question though:
What's the proportion of the lower half of the leg (since it wasn't portrayed in this picture)?

lower half of the leg from the bottom of the knee cap to the bottom of the feet is the same length as the groin to the bottom of the knee cap ^^ (about two heads)

Thank you so very much for all of your tutorials! They are so easy to understand, actually show each step instead of just assuming we know the next part(even if we do, it's nice to be told in such a simple matter). I also really liked that mini anatomy lesson and how you gave really good advice and help

I never really do the sketch phase...is that bad? XD
I just go to the lineart with my pencil, than I ink it with my pen, and than I go on to the coloring
Very helpful tutorial though, I'll try to actually do this first

eh.. some people can do it, but usually the sketch really helps XD i used to draw without them too, but then one day i realized all my anatomy was only kinda-good.. so i started sketching.. and man did i improve!

Well....I tend to do it when I do anatomy and realistic drawings. But now I'm doing more of an abstract style and usually chibi to get my....creative muscles going xD
I actually draw a kind of Chibi/realistic
I'll definitely have to try this than

I just downloaded the free trial of Sai and so I'm looking through a million different tutorials.
I want to try my hand at drawing humans and just drawing better in general. (:
I usually don't comment. But, you are amazing and I had to tell you this. o-o
I loved this tutorial because it wasn't all professional robot talk, I love your sense of humor and I really understood what you were saying. ^-^
Thank you for this tutorial!

bowl
just 1 question : do you use one of those boars to sketch with the PC?
u know, it's like a mini school interactive board (sorry, dunno how else to call them)
i think they're called drawing pads, do u use one of these?
(I can't even ask a question without going in circles, speaking about loops )
