Description
Thanks for coming, We think we dropped our keys around here somewhere but we can't find them, could you either tow us or give us a lift to the next space station? We called AAA but they were afraid we would assimilate them.Used the bottom left texture in this pack. Wasn't completely happy with this model until I found this texture, and it gave it the final touch.

You would, and it would make them far more efficient

Believe it or not it was completely unintentional, but since it was so fitting I decided not to change it. I saw it right away when I rendered it, what amazes me is no one else commented on it yet.

Nothing quite as pants wettingly scary as the implacable nigh on unstoppable juggernaut that is the Borg - that is prior to the farcical treatment they got in Voyager, from scary leviathan to minor nuisance, cheers dumbasses.
Anyhoo this is quite a nice piece 'o' work, looks like the assimilation party is about to begin on an unfortunate and unsuspecting world.
Love the perspective close over the foreground vessel, conveys the sheer size of the cubes and their might.

I know exactly what you mean. I loved the mystery and imagination of them in the Next Generation series. Especially the episode when they were introduced, it seemed the more they used them the more they ruined what was an awsome and ultimate adversary. A threat where 1 cube could take on the entire fleet. tsk tsk, so I prefer to remember the classic mysterious juggernaut as you said. That word fits them well.

Well if you have some how managed to not see the finale of Voyager, try to keep it that way, epic ruination.
Still even that pales in comparison to one of Shatner's books in which he defeats the entire collective by, flipping a switch

I have only seen a few of the Voyager episodes, and 2 of them involved the Borg, but it wasn't my favorite series so I did avoid the finale. I've never even heard of the book Shatner wrote, good thing from the sounds of it.

It's called 'The Return' just so you know what to avoid, one thundering big ego trip and a feckin farce of Trek.
