Description
"Bravo, Monsieur! Such spirited words! Let's see, Monsieur, how far you dare go!"So apparently I can't stick to the drawings that I need to do, or the drawings requested of me. There's just been an explosion of inspiration lately, and you all will be seeing the outcome of that in the near future. I hope you all don't mind the current stop to requests... I'll be getting back on track shortly.
Enjoy, and please comment!

good point, I doubt that I could impress her anyway, but it would be a start!
Yeah, I just wish that she would have become an actor. No one knows why she became a nurse, it was very strange....

strange indeed. perhaps she met a handsome young chap who was going into nursing and wanted to chase after him. jk!

I like the musical stuff-like Phantom or Cats or Les Mis. Or whatever strikes my teacher's fancy I suppose.
Ha ha, I wish! She already had a boyfriend at the time and he was a complete jerk! He dumped her on her birthday! If I ever meet him again I will skin him alive! I hated him so much!

Yes, I sing Phantom, Les Mis, My Fair Lady, Oliver, Finian's (sp?) Rainbow, Fiddler on the Roof... the list goes on... Oh, and I also sing some "sacred songs" (as she likes to call them!) such as "How Great is Our God" and "Blessed Assurance"... I love some of those.
aw, that's not cool! geez... why do guys do that I wonder?

yeah. I like singing worship songs too. Um, I also sing from the Music Man and a few others like that. But the one I am best at is On My Own from Les Mis. I can also do Marius's part and Valjean's if I'm really warmed up. I'm a tenor/alto. I couldn't be a soprano if my life depended on it....I accidently damaged my vocal cords 7 years ago.
Because guys are jerks. Well, most of them anyway. They pay no attention to our feelings.

Yes, I've sung from Music Man as well!
On My Own is the best song EVER... btw, do you sing on youtube by any chance? I always try to get singers to sing with me on there...
oh dear, what made you damage your voice? So you weren't a natural mezzo from the start? hugh!
It's very true! I hope to find someone decent someday, but most guys out there are just-- bleeeh.

I love the Music Man! Ms Marion the librarian!
No, I don't sing on youtube-sorry. I don't have any recording devices to. I would if I could though!
Well, when I was 7 I had my next door neighbor over and he was babysitting me.He was 13 at the time and we decided to have a screaming contest-I won. But at the cost of my higher vocal cords, to this day I still can't scream or sing soprano...
Exactly! People say I am going to marry my best friend Lowell-but last time I checked marriage usually means having a romantic relationship....

It's not a bad thing... just a funny observation.
-sniffle- WHY? No, I understand completely. Most of my friends don't understand my strange ever growing obsession...
oh no no no! I didn't mean when you BOTH get married... I meant when YOU get married (just you! with... someone else! ha ha!) Then you'll be used to guy friends. ugh. sorry... I don't make a lot of sense right now... Let me put it another way:
Suppose a girl goes through high school and college dating guys as soon as they're more than acquaintances. Emotions stir everytime a cute guy is around. When this girl finally settles down and marries the guy of her dreams, it's going to be hard for her to stay completely loyal to her husband emotionally, even though they're married. Anytime she goes into work, there's going to be funny, handsome men around, and she can't fall in love with every one of them. Or if a family is invited over to her house, she can't start imagining "what if..." about the other guy.
Just sayin'. It's good to practice having guy friends...

ha ha, yeah.
Yeah. My friends and hate it. Because I love to talk about it so much. they have dubbed it 'the p-word.' then second best thing I like to talk about to them is Les Mis and the third is Labyrinth. They have grown to hate David Bowie with a passion and say that his pants are so tight that it must be cutting off the blood flow to his brain...oh well!
Oh! Okay! Sorry about that...I didn't understand. You're completely correct though. It's always hard to keep the 'what if thoughts' out of your head-even if it's considered adultry and a sin. Have you ever been in a relationship? I never have...yet.

ha ha ha. I saw Labyrinth with a small group in my youth group and they hated it too! At least one other kid KNEW who David Bowie was and enjoyed it...
No, not yet! As you may have guessed, I have a group of guy friends at youth group (since I play in the worship band, it's hard not to make friends with them!) But we always hang out in groups, and my motives never go in the "relationship" direction, although sometimes it enters my mind. How can it not? I just keep praying that the right guy will come around someday! Right now I'm far too young and guys are far too immature.

Haha-exactly! Guys are even more immature at 13 and 14! I wonder what parents must go through. If I ever have kids and they're boys I'm making sure that they have good manners and never break anything.

Me too. Vulnerable men who can sing...
What does it take to be classified as an E/C shipper? Because, I, admittedly have written fanfiction in the past where Erik and Christine finally end up with each other, but that was a long time ago. I do draw a whole lot of Erik and Christine cartoons... I just love their happy moments... but I'm no longer a Raoul hater, and I understand completely why Erik and Christine could never-- be together in the end. So what am I?

ha ha-yes. Have you heard of any other David Bowie songs besides from Labyrinth? My dad has a ton on his ipod...
Well-to be an E/C shipper you have to believe that Erik and Christine were better off togther. I mean-I like Raoul. I don't hate him and don't dislike him. I love making fun of him and torturing him in my stories though. I feel sorry for the man. I do think that Christine loved him. As a brother though. She was just afraid to stay with Erik. Raoul was her safety. I think that you're an E/C shipper-just not as rabid as some. Like, I can't stand reading anything other than E/C on Fanfiction.net. But I like RM. I started reading it before I had a favorite pairing...
Ugh-sorry if that didn't make any sense. I just finished my first final (English) and I was up literally all night because I was so nervous...it was easy though..

Okay, I mean-- I so enjoy the E/C pairing, but I don't dislike Raoul... he's adorable! And I kind of agree that Erik and Christine belonged together, in the sense that it could've been a beautiful union... but I understand how it was also "never meant to be"...
That's also how I sense the Erik/Chelsey pairing is going to end up... just a guess!

Yeah-school finshed yesterday and I got my marks back on my finals-I got the highest mark in my class for English and Social-a 92 and 90 but in math..I suck at math. I`m also studying for my learners so I can get it soon-that should be fun.
Yeah-unfortunatly I don`t think Erik was really destined to stay with anyone-it would have been nice-but I doubt that he, other than in fanfiction, will never end up with anyone-after all he died in the end of the Leroux book.
Oh-did you have fun on your trip, and how was Phantom. Just to tell you, when you get back I won`t be able to write. I have to go to my lake and we don`t have internet there-heck, we don`t even have a phone! So I`ll talk to you sometime...

wow, good for you! Yah, math isn't my cup of tea... I tend to think with the right side of my brain. I completely agree with that. And I guess that's not what I meant that "they belonged together"... um, because, Christine never truly loved him. What I meant is that they both completed each other in some way, but, yah... forget it, I lost my train of thought.
I'm so burnt-out.
Yes, I sure did! Phantom was incredible. It was the best show I'd ever seen, and even though Final Lair didn't make me bawl, the overture and think of me oddly made me tear up. I think I was just too excited to be actually watching PotO front row.

Thanks. I personally hate math-and I suck at it as well. English is my best subject-social is next. My math teacher hatedd me for some reason...
Ha ha-no problem! Yeah, I mean, she did love him in some way in the end, which was good. Erik got to feel love and it was so pure that he died from it. I secretly believe that even if he had married Christine and didn't die that his inferiority complex would take over and probably drive him to suicide...just a thought!
Glad to hear it was so good! I know what you mean. When I went back to Vegas and saw Phantom for the 3rd time I had forgotten the magic of truly being there, smelling, feeling and experiancing everything. I wass tempted to sing along with the songs. When I sat in the front row I was so happy! I was giddy. I had never been front row in Vegas before. It was amazing. Almost choked on the mist though-it was pretty heavy. I still wonder how the orchestra can stand it.
It turns out my neighbor has internet! I actually just got back from my bible camp. It was amazing! Chris (our speaker) was spectacular! He related the bible to Star Wars, like episodes. Episode 1: Creation Episode 2: The Fall and so on. And I had forgotten how great our band was until they played. I'm still singing songs! Like "One fine day I'll see Jesus." and so on...
Anyway-glad to hear from you. Glad you liked your trip!

Bible Camp... YES! I'm glad to hear all that (Star Wars rocks! I love it when Christians have a good time talking about the Bible and bring in something from pop culture to describe it!) And I take it that worship was amazing, too?

Ha ha, that could have worked. But do you really think that Christine could have done that with Erik when she had issues herself? I mean, either way she would have always been unsure no matter who she chose.
Worship was-it was funny. We were doing devotions one night and we were looking for the story where Moses parted the Red Sea but couldn't find it. So we called Keith-our camp director. We asked him what book it was in and he said Zephediah (or something like that.) and we looked and couldn't find it. Then Ashely was like "Keith, do you mean Exodus?" and he's like "Uh-yeah. But you should read Zephediah, good book." and it wasn't even in Exodus! It's in Genisis! We laughed at that.

He asked me about where I come from (I told him the US!) and we talked about the sequel (He er-- sort of changed my mind about it [sort of!]) and he asked if he was on the right track as far as how old he'd have to be for the sequel... we also talked about where I had visited in Europe, London in general, and I, of course, told him he was my favorite Phantom. And I didn't just say that because he was there.

What did he say about the sequel? I've talked to Howard and Ted (Ted Keegan) about it. Howard doesn't really know what to think-he leaves in 2 days anyway. And Ted thinks that there might be a third because of Pierre. Then me and Daniel (an usher.) delicatly broke it to him about how Pierre came into existance. He was a bit shocked. Ha ha-I bet not! Actually, I've done that before. To tell the truth Anthony is my favorite Phantom, but if I don't tell Howard he is he gets pouty and I have to make it up to him...

well, he brought it up without knowing that I would... know. He said "I'm going to star with Sierra Boggness (sp?) in an upcoming show here in London..." And I know that they are the very couple that was rumored to star in the sequel. So I asked him! Of course he began to deny it saying "well, I don't know for SURE if I'm going to be in it..." ha ha. He practically confessed already. But anyway, I asked him (now that we were on the topic!) if the sequel made sure to stay true to its characters. He looked me straight in the eye and said something like "Well-- if you're expecting Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman... you won't get them. But If you're talking about the Phantom and Christine... yes, yes it does. What I like most about this sequel, is not just the brilliant new music, but the story. It's really a story of redemption, one that I think will be almost, if not more amazing than the first." So there. I trust his convictions... he's a Christian after all. Sure, I still have my big doubts... but what if the sequel turns out to be completely different than what we all expected? Just a thought. I'll still stay watchful and cautious about what I hear, but if I should trust anyone, it would be him. He's probably read the script, heard the songs...

Oh wow. All the Vegas cast is getting the big breaks! Tim went to Broadway, now the National tour, Sierra used to play Christine and went to Broadway for The Little Mermaid. And Anthony has won a Tony award and has been in movies, plays and more things than I can count. And Howard (don't tell him I told you this if you ever meet him.) played in the movie the Swan Princess as the Prince. I laughed so hard! He refuses to do a private performance though...no matter how Much I beg him. He's a jerk.

Yes... nearly two years ago. What I do remember is that it was very short (it's ironic that the author, in the preface or something, called Leroux's novel "a slim little book" HA!), the entire premise of the story was laughable, and even with a slightly "happy" ending for Erik, it just wasn't my cup of tea. It was like a badly written fanfic, with little or no juicy scenes between Erik and Christine... and Christine and Raoul were barely together either! It was actually flat-out boring.
Yes, I heard about that too... Mme. Giry cannot be the "bad guy"! It just doesn't make sense...

Wow-I read it more recently. About 3 months ago. And I know, I can't believed they dissed Leroux in it! I mean, talk about biting the hand that feeds you! Without Leroux there would be nothing! I've either seen all the movies or seen reviews to them on "phantom reviews" on youtube... a great series, in case you're ever on there. But I've never had the guts to watch even the review for the "rat" version... it just looks disturbing. Not even going to go there! Umm, there's some really good phanphics I have read-like, really good. Some of them I beleive should be published. They're modern day though. Kay is my favorite version besides the Leroux. I love Kay's Erik. It moved me to tears-lots. At random points too. Like, when Christine asked him for a hankercheif and he says that he doesn't have one because he doesn't have a nose. I stayed up until 2 in the morning reading the Kay book.
Yeah-the rat one was disgusting. I watched it without realizing that it was the rat one. My friend told me to watch it because it was Phantom and I found out later it was that one. The Enguld one made me sick to my stomach too. I can't stand blood and guts. I hated when he skinned Buquet and put him in Carlotta's closet.

I devoured Kay's book, but realized there were lots of things that bothered me about it once I set it down. Let's just say that it would take a rather long discussion to reveal what all I didn't like about it... but I will admit that several parts moved me to tears... I'm such a sucker for Erik!
I've heard good things about the Englund one, but how can I trust people when this society delights in horror films? I don't think I'll ever watch that version, even though the cinematography looks pretty neat. Also the idea of Erik being an immortal... and violence-for-the-absolute-fun-of-it kind of guy is just ridiculous.

Like, this one time that Tim put a noose around my neck (prop noose.) and pretended to be Erik. That was terrifying and all he could do was laugh at me! Then lock me in a room! Umm, both of them really like the role. If you caught Howard backstage after the performance he was actually really, really scary. It was almost like talking to Erik! They've both read the book too so that was good. Actually, we forced them so they didn't really have a choice...after that Howard made his Phantom really Leroux-like. And Tim really hasn't played the Phantom full time very much so he can't really say.

You guys are so funny! PotO pranks, am I right?
Oh, I wish I could've seen him at some point! Man, a Lerouxy stage phantom... how sweet. Well, if John has not read the book, you must make him! Then he'd be the PERFECT Phantom.
That's actually a question I should've asked Ramin... "have you read the book?"
Yes, I have! twice, or three times, I don't know. But it's been a while... I tried reading it again in Europe but had little time to sit down, so I didn't get too far.

Yeah. We tie-dyed Howard's shirt-not his stage one! But his normal one. Fans who were waiting at the back started to laugh. Hard. We did it while he was getting changed for the red death scene. He is in the prop rooms for that so we snuck into his dressing room...
It was pretty cool. And he was really tall and thin so he fit the part perfectly. I'm not sure if John has read it yet. I haven't realy talked to him since that forsts time. I'll ask my friend to ask him.
Has Ramin read the book? And did you know he's not going to be playing Phantom for much longer?
Cool! That has to be one of my favorite books. I love the part where Eponine dies and says "Did you know Monsieur Marius, I believe I was a little in love with you." that part made me cry. I felt bad for her.

wow! That's pretty ridiculous!
Yes, do. Convert yet another Phantom to the Leroux-side of the force.
Well, I didn't ask him. Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda! Yes; it makes me sad, mainly because I heard he's going into the sequel. He practically confessed it, too, so I just hope there's going to be something redeemable about this sequel. I'm pretty torn regarding this subject now, because now I wish him the best of luck, but I hope that the sequel fails miserably! We'll just have to wait and see...
aw, that is such a sad part! That part almost made me cry, and the last chapter(s) of the book about Valjean staying away from Cosette and Marius was so surprisingly sad that I just bawled my eyes out when I read it. I didn't expect the end of his life to be so sad! Hugo was a genius...

It was fun though-he just folded his arms gave us 'the look' and pointed for us to ge out of his dressing room. What was funny after was seeing him go out in and having all the fans see him! I swear-I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face!
She said that she would ask next time she talked to him.
That's too bad. It would be interesting to see how many Phantoms have actually read the book...I know Tim, Howard and that's about it. Hugh Parano might have. Casey knows...I'll have to ask. I'm pretty sure Brad Little hasn't.
Ha ha-I don't have that dilemma! I want the sequel to fail miserably no matter what! I swear-Sir Andy is a llittle touched in the head for even considering The Phantom of Manhatten as the sequel! It makes me want to take Erik's punjab lasso...and well you know what happens with that. Or perhaps put him in the torture chamber!
I know. I was sad when Grantaire and Enjorlas died. My favorite character was Enjorlas. After that was Eponine. I still wonder if he had to have ALL of the students die-besides Marius of course. Hugo was a genius. Have you read Hunchback as well?

ha ha ha!
Yes, I wish there was a big check box in their application for the job... "read the book? YES or NO?"
It's a big predicament. I guess I still want the sequel to fail, but at least I can hear Ramin's voice on a soundtrack for it (in case it had any OK songs to use for Phantom music videos!)
Enjolras is AMAZING. I love him. I don't know who my favorite character is because him, Eponine, Javert, Jean Valjean and Marius all tie!
No, I haven't! It's on my reading list, though.

thatwould be good! Though if that was what it took for them to get the job we would miss out on a lot of good Phantoms. Like Anthony. I don't think he's read the book but he's still my favorite Phantom (Howard really hates me for that.) But that would be an important thing to know!
Yeah, the sequel should have a soundtrack (if it has any good songs.) but after that it should just fizzel out and never be spoken of again. I'm going to fly up to Toronto and see it. I ahve family there. My aunt and uncle. They said that they would house me and pay for the plane ticket. It should be interesting.
Ha ha-all the characters are amazing. Enjorlas is my favorite-no idea why. I also like Eponine, Marius, Gaveroche, Valjean and Javert (I'm sure I'm forgetting someone. No idea who though.)
It's very good. I read it right after I read Les Mis. I borrowed it from the local library.

Well, it's not like they'd have to read the book to be in, but it would be a great question to ask for an interview!
Yes, very interesting! I do hope someone posts it on youtube, though. So I can see how the play gets played out. I'm most likely never going to see it. I hope it happens that way, too. Like what happened to "Woman in White", Andrew Lloyd Webber's last attempt at a musical. It had great music but really didn't cut it and it just kind of faded away and was forgotten...
I think you got all the good ones down.
That's what I'm planning on doing!

Yeah-it would. It would be very interesting to see who has read the book. Actually-have you heard of the site by LadyGhost?
Yeah-there should be posts on youtube! For something this big there will be a ton of cameras there the first night! Yeah, I've heard of Women in White-but only vaugley nothing substanial. When did he make it?
Um, oh! Grantaire! That's who I forgot! One of my favorite characters. Actually-the man who played him in the dream cast is the Vegas Phantom! nthony Crivello. I was so happy to hear that. Tony has an amazing voice.
Yeah. I find it easier to borrow books from the library then buy them. Unless they're good. Like Phantom. I got it from the library first then bought it.

yes! I've visited it a few times... especially before leaving for Paris-- I looked up all sorts of facts about the Opera house to keep handy on the trip.
This was back in the early 2000's... 2003 or '04 I believe? Michael Crawford was one of the bad guys. It has some good songs, but apparently died down.
He is sweet. Oh really? You mean the 10th anniversary concert cast? I'll have to go watch that again and see him!
Same here! I only own a few books... Bible, Les Mis, Phantom, Jekyll and Hyde... and some Ted Dekker books. But I haven't re-read those yet!

Have you read the interviews on it? They're a bit old (like it says that Tim still hasn't read the book-but he has now.) but it says who has read the book and not. It's quite interesting anyway!
That sucks! Michael Crawford-bad guy...I can't imagine that. At all. He is such a sweet man. My friend Casey got to meet him on Phantom's 21st Broadway performance. I was ticked because it was a school week so I couldn't go. She got to met MC and Sarah Brightman I believe.
Yeah-I really haven't seen any other production except some clips of JOJ on youtube. Ha ha-I love watching Tony when he's playing Grantaire. He is a great actor. And Tony has won a Tony award! For Kiss of the Spider Woman...go figure.
Yeah. I but the ones I don't have in our library. Which is quite a few because our library is pretty small. I don't live in a very big town.

Oh, I should check them out!
It's sort of interesting... they even put a fat costume on him! I couldn't even recognize him on the trailer for the show!
LUCKY! I'd die to meet some of those people. What an honor!
Tony-- Tony award! That's not at all ironic.
Cool!
