The swirls are drawn around the model with a flashlight during a long exposure. Think writing your name in the air with a sparkler.

Thanks. If I remeber rightly this was my first attempt at a lightpainting with a clothed model - previously they had pretty much all been nudes. Worked out a lot better than I expected.

wow taht is such a cool pic, i ahve no idea how you did it though. i saw this feature in this magazine of grafiti people who would do that but with grafitti written infront of them, twas very interesting

This reminds me of the movie Practicle Magic. And in the movie towards teh end the aunts say somthing along the lines of this. "Theres a little witch in every woman." I think this captures that feeling of power and magic in one self. Very good job.

That probably has something to do with the fact that she was kneeling on a wooden floor because I thought the reflections would look cool. That's gonna make anyone look a bit dangerous...
