Description There's a lot of reading involved in this one. I hope I don't have too many typos.

Also, you'd notice the 'Dual Boot' idea that's is borrowed from computers. Too bad I didn't know how to do it on my own machine.

Heh. Her program system runs on Linux for a reason.

Personally, I'm more of a Windows 7 guy nowadays.

The only reason why I'm a Windows user is because I needed the more professional word processors, and there are features I need that Open Office just don't have.

Also, they really did their homework and paid attention to their customers when they made 7. I really like it.

You know, the "10% of brain" thing is a myth... there's not a part of the brain we don't use, hense why you never hear a doctor say "Ah, don't worry, it's just hit straight through this big wad of neuroglia. No prob." Every part of the brain has a use.

Nitpicky me is.

I (and Toni) was referring to how much memory you can put in a human brain--what you put in during your life vs how much a brain can hold--not in other functions. Of course every part of the human brain has a use; that's why I have that third 'partition' in that graph in this week's page to show the parts of the brain that are necessary. And as you can expect, the graph is merely suggestive; I don't know if there is any way you can defragment someone's brain like that.

While it's true that not all of your brain is used at any one point in time, it's definitely not true that you only ever use just 10% of your brain, even 'at just one time'. ...it's also not exactly like a hard drive, there's complicated, specialized structures and nerves and whatnot, I doubt you can just easily 'overwrite' it a la computer OSes.

Also, technically speaking, the part of the brain the body requires to live (as in, keeping the heart beating and your lungs breathing) is actually the cerebellum and spinal cord and etc. But the rest is certainly useful and vital for long-term survival.
